So when I first read the title of this poem, I was a little confuse until I read your notes, now it makes a whole lot of sense. This is beautifully written and the best time to be written for the year, plus we got snow!

it is an interesting way of writing a poem. I like the way you use a word and then describe it and apply another that applies to the description. Don't know if that makes sense but can't think how to say what I mean.well done anyway

This is really lovely. Even before I read about the form it stood strong in its own right (write!). I love 'snow flocked trees' and then the internal rhyme with 'Locked'. Lovely use of language and rhyme. A very fine poem.

Thank you for sharing your masterful interpretation of the form Richie introduced to us. I enjoyed your rhymes and your series and your "fashions" metaphor. You could be describing the scene in Eastern Canada today! Hugs- Joan

Very lovely poem, Tom. Perfect photo for this. I enjoyed the poem's style. I always appreciate your author's notes, as I am woefully ignorant about poetry. Nicely done, Tom.

Excellent photo once more and then this lovely new style. You wrote it all about snow and in rhyme which I don't think is even required.

An intriguing Child Four poem and a great subject.
Despite the harsness of the winter season there is a definite beauty to it's majesty as well.
You have described well many of these facets of the wonder to behold.

This is a very well thought out poem and the poet's words "Nature's decorations" brings forth the image of our own human Christmas decorations and how artificial it is compared to the decorations of a natural snow fall on that tree by Nature and God. Very well done Tom.
