This is quite lovely in form and content. I am continually amazed by all the cool formats you produce and you are certainly broadening my education by always providing an explanation of the rules behind the style. I wish I had a six since you incorporated rhyme into a format that typically does not require it - such challenges deserve bonus points. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.

Love the sentiment you have expressed in this well-crafted verse.
A day is certainly worry of a cherub toast.
Here on the West Coast, people sitting in restaurants on the beach often raise their classes to toast the sunset then the whole restaurant applauds the sinking sun.

Thank you d, a wonderful way to do it. I have experienced that in both La Jolla, and San Francisco.

A very delightful Whitney poem. See, I learned something today. Never heard of a Whitney poem before. Great imagery throughout. Love the phrase, "Twilight Toasting". Very well done!

A sweet and whimsical Whitney celebrating Good use of alliterartion in 'twilight toasting'. Dusk's revelries introduce the theme of darkness when the angels depart.

You could very well be right. Lol.
A delightful Whitney poem with the perfect picture choice to back up the poem's sentiments.

Delightful imagery in this great party and adventure, I have not heard of a "Whitney" poem. Rhyme scheme was excellent in such a tight short poem. Well done.

Hi, Treischel,
This is an excellent Whitney poem. It has good flow, rhyme, and figurative language and imagery. Twilight toasting is good alliteration.

Dance and play
The day away
Cherubs sing
As angels may
Wine tasting
Twilight toasting wasting
Dusk's revelries underway
Never heard of a Whitney. Was a delight to read.
