Hello Treischel,
When Waters Dance - A live picture beautifully depicted!
It's a marvelous piece of Romance Poetry in the form of an Octogram fulfilling all the desired norms.
Praiseworthy structure as well as the Artwork.
Wording is simple, impressive and perfectly matching the theme.
Spontaneous and enchanting flow throughout the poem resembling the natural fountain.
Lovely rhyming scheme with lively imagery and pictorial quality.
Superb!

Your poem is beautifully presented, with a lovely picture.
The words flow and dance in this poem - an Octogram is a form I have never heard of, so thank you for introducing it - I shall have to try one someday :)
Best wishes,
Donna.

Rhyming flows off the tongue very nicely, a smooth poem! I enjoyed it, and the feeling of wonder that came with it. The picture at the beginning is a wonderful start of the poem and gives the reader a feel for what the poem will be about. Although a bit vague in the message of the poem, it was quite interesting overall! Excellent job!

What a lovely way of bringing words to life on paper. 'When water dances' does it. 'Upon a pond where waves will prance' - I love it. I heard, recently, that to walk near water encourages meditative thought and is extremely uplifting. This poem is beautiful. Thank you.

The somewhat jerky rhythm of the octagram is an ideal vehicle for the dancing movement of the water. You also capture this beautifully in the alliteration and verb choice in your closing lines:
Will see the rising ripples flash,
Then throw the drops that make a splash
Upon a pond where waves will prance,
When waters dance.

This is definitely a favorite. I love the words to the poem and it certainly speaks to me in a rhythm one could enjoy dancing to. Such a fine rhythmic piece.

Treischel This is a lovely piece. You have done yourself proud with your illustration. Your verse itself is so visual. The reader can almost imagine it right before their eyes. I too, would enjoy such a pleasant walk. Thank you for sharing. KG Writes

My very best grade this morning for a pleasant and lyrical verse about a pond in motion. The fountain provides constant changes on the surface, and you have written about it very well. Good work.
