I absolutely love the message this gives. Awesome! I think that is what any writer wants - "Might just become the answer to a prayer someone desperately prays". Lord knows other writers work has been that for me.

Wonderful thought in this poem which has the power to revive hope in anyone who reads it. There are about three lines where the count is off a bit - but that's okay and totally acceptable - there's a name for an irregular meter but I'm having a senior moment and it won't come to mind just now. I love this poem - it reads like a gift to those hungry for hopeful encouragement. I'm sorry I'm getting to it several days after you posted but I'm happy it was still there to read!

Dear Eleanor: while Thanksgiving has past for some, you are one of those special souls who keep it alive constantly for your heart is full of giving and your thoughts are truly precious to me. Thanks truly for this wonderful review and as I share also senior moments, the truth is...I did know I was stumbling a bit with my meter but I honestly did not want to sacrifice meaning for poetic precision and just could not get any solutions at the time.
