Kids are too cute when they are dressed up for Halloween. I think I miss that most about my kids being grown-up. I need to wait for them to have kids of their own, I guess.

I completely enjoy my grandchildren and since I had all boys I really enjoy the granddaughters and my daughter-in-laws.

I have to say this, she did make a cute mouse. I liked the rhyming and the style of this. The imagery was great. I liked the child like wonder in this. nicely done.

I see you are being affected by your grandchildren too. Move over, Brooke. (lol) This is very well written with a cute rhyming scheme.

I know that she's dressed like a little mouse, but she looks like an angel to me. I have four granddaughters and their personalities are as different as night and day. She's picture perfect and I know that her grandmother will take good care of her. Thanks so much for sharing. This made me smile.

How beautiful a poem you have written. It is so fitting of the beautiful baby girl. I enjoyed the read. Your poem flowed very well. The picture of the baby, priceless.

That is an adorable picture. Certainly worth a poem. This is cute and appealing. Clever AABB rhyme. Trust the cat not to pay any attention to the obviously fake mouse. The pup, on the other hand, is ready to play! Enjoyed the ending with the little mouse saying she's a kissing bug, whereupon she gets a kiss from Grandma. This is a treat! judi

She is adorable. The mouse costume is precious. Your poem is delightful as well. It is perfectly suited for the trick or treat holiday. It makes me wish my grandchildren were still little.

On three.....awwwwww.

What a charming, cute costume. Mouse in house, got hug, cat shrug, waited, got irated. Say, wanna play? Bowed head she said, bug, hug, no critique on kissed cheek.

This was a really sweet poem that I'm sure will be a big hit with the drooling in their gruel crowd, as well we old fogies who just drool everywhere.

quatrains with aabb rhymes.
The perfect picture for this poem.
I just wanta play
Mouse, what do you say?"
She bowed her head
With a tear she said,

"Grandma, 'bout that hug
I'm a kissing bug."
Without a critique
Grandma kissed her cheek.
Ideal trick and treat idea
influenced by his photo.

Thank you for the kind review. This little lady never has to ask for a hug or kiss from grandma.
