very interesting. i lived the metaphors. it also has a good message about accepting our lives and being happy with it. we do tend to let things fall to the wayside as we fight for survial day to day.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. While travelling in Africa and India, I felt that most people in the countryside had little material stuff and yet they had more laughters in their daily lives and upon making conversational enquiries I realized also that they did not have "Love" as a necessary ingredient for building relationship between the men and women; just the mutual needs and practicalities of life. It was so different than our love concept and the poem came to my mind naturally.

No argument on that point but there are few who miss the arrows of Amore and here we are going all alone but then what is the choice? Thanks for your reflections and rating.
