A very well written Lune poem.
Cleverly crafted to suit your chosen picture and a fine picture it is.
Those beautiful rich colours sit there proudly for all to see and are really eyecatching.

A beautiful array of flowers and grains blowing in the wind - opening a showcase of nature's beauty atop a welcoming pillar.
Visitors will like the welcome this beauty show brings to them. In hues of yellow, red, brown and green, this bouquet will bring a happy feeling in our hearts, smiles.
Cheerio, good write, Ritchie. :))

Thanks Ritchie. Also, flying the flag is known as "showing the colors". The nickname of the US flag is "Old Glory". So grains and Glory blowing in the wind and showing colors.

Thank you for that little piece of information. it was informative.

A nice little write, and a complimentary colourful image.

I like the colours in amongst the concrete.

A great image which depicts the subject matter.

Short, sweet , simple.

Well done,

RG

Hi, Treischel,
This is an excellent lune meeting the line/ syllable requirements of the form. It expresses a coherent thought. While the alliteration in the third line is good I am not sure of the meaning of "grains"

Thanks Preston, the grains refers to the grass seeds bent and blowing at the top of those flowers, just like the flag in the background.

A lune poem with some irony. And it's in the photograph too. Lovely picture. Great Lune. Creative with good visual imagery. Nice work.

I love this lune and appreciate your explanation of what it is. This one is superb and the inspiration from the photo is clear. I love 'colours show/ in grains of glory'. A great metaphor. Well done.
