Hi Kay!

Thanks for sharing another legend passed down from the Aborigine. A good lesson to be learned from it.

Hugs,
Lois

The guardian touched his beaming face and told him:
"now(Now), run home and find your tribe at peace."

This is a beautiful story, beautifully told. I know a similar old fable from Ireland, where a leprechaun offers a wish to a crippled boy who is being taunted. The boy wishes that the other children would ignore disability and play with him. The leprechaun asks "Wouldn't you rather lose your disability?" The child replies "But that would benefit only me. By changing the way the other children think, I'll be helping all the disabled children." Such wisdom! Thank you for sharing your lovely story.

Thanks so much; your Irish story draws a parallel to our dreamtime story. If we forget our own problems and think of others instead - blessings come back to us in mysterious ways. Blessed be, Kay.

This is a wonderful story for young adults. I like that it contains such a wonderful message with the boy being rewarded for his unselfish wish.

Indeed a story for reflection and change.
Good choice of words and great narration.
I do hope that we all learn to take note of the person, not the body.
Good work. Presice. Clear.

Thank you friend; the body is only a suitcase for the soul and we need to think more about the needs of others before ourselves. Blessed be, Kay.

Fantasy has always been a good source
for literature and you present an interesting
story about the golden tree and its legend.
