Very good job here, the emotional struggle and turmoil is clearly evident in your words. The word choice is beautiful, the rhythm was a bit forced in some spots, not as loose as the rest. But all in all you did a great job.

This is a beautiful piece with lovely descriptive language and a classic tone. I liked the phrase "flaming, tortuous hands". I like how it ends with a steadfast faith, even though you are clearly suffering.

Excellent description of the soul-searching about spiritual issues, This can happen once or more than that as many of us go through several levels of spirituality during our lives. Thank you for sharing this thought-provoking piece~Debbie

Dear Justin,

Who knows when Christ will come. This is a plea but it seems the speaker is not sure. He is assailed by sin and doubt and cries out in the wilderness.

Your poem has a good flow and rhyming.

Warm regards,

Winslow

I truly loved this, because I can relate to it so very much, I searched for years, then gave up. Then realized....only a few months ago...we never need to search, we never need to 'find' God...he was never lost...we were. God is within us. Always. Everything good...everything that comes from love,or creates love...is God. St. Thomas said it clearly...and this is not an exact quote..."you will not find Me in your buildings made of stone...turn a rock, and you will see Me...split a piece of wood, and I am there. Blessings to you tonite, enjoy your journey with God, for He truly is with you always, even unto the end of time.

This is a nice poem, written in the quatrain style with good rhythm and rhyming throughout the poem, that gives us a glimpse of the author's journey in life.

Wow! My gratitude Justin to you for sharing this very prominent poem with fans, myself and other readers/writers. Technically, first of all your rhyming schemes were done very well and neither of your rhymes were forced, labored or strained. Your rhythm and tempo was very well done and it made it easy for me to read and understand your poem. What a powerful poem about your struggles as strong battles with the evil and Jesus. Your guidance and help needed to protect you was felt so strong in your words and the imagery created that strength that made me feel it through your words. Thanks again for a really well written poem. You have a nice weekend.

Very good verse, I guess we have all had moments in our life where we have felt we were on that path.
Your gift of rhyming lets your verse flow smoothly and swiftly.
Well chosen accompanying picture, depicting the story.
All presented in a clear bright setting.

Well done. Frankeddy
