wow Bev, this was a fantastic story with a serial killer, Father and the entrancing dialogue that keeps the reader on their toes wanting more and more. The plot thickens here and will have to circle back on this gem!

Great introductory section with Eddie and the "beast" that really pulls in the reader. It sure did me! I like how you go back and give us a glimpse of the interaction between Debra and Father Brian.
This gets real spooky during the second half of the story, and I like scary things, so you get an A+ from me, my friend. Sorry this review is so late. I've been on vacation and am now having my kitchen remodeled, so these are very busy days. My best to you, my friend. Your writing, by the way, is brilliant!

Everything is unfolding at a rapid pace. Another great chapter..One question. You refer to an orange Datsun, then later to the cab of a truck.. Am I misreading something. Also is the vehicle occupied by two visible entities or is it more like shift changing and would not be visible to the old man who wrote down the license number. I am assuming the latter.

Yes, the latter in the case of the demon - though it could choose to be visible to only one person. I've referrred to the Datson as a small truck in a chapter way back. So, this is in keeping with that previous description.

The organization made it easy to read. (No huge paragraphs but multiple bite size ones)Great word choice- hissing, startled, cacophony, intention etc. This has a great story line and the dialogue fits in perfectly. Adding background and "preciously" made it easy for me to understand what had been happening. Good job!

I was on edge reading this chapter. Excellent writing; the tension is powerful. The characters are rounded and dialog, thoughts, point of view - all great. I enjoyed this chapter and want to read more. (sign of a good book).
