The Pantoum has elluded me for I haven't
accomplished the skills for it. You, though
have breezed through it with honors. It is
in great form and on a rather difficult theme
as well. I appreciate the notes you gave to
help those of us who dream of writing one
someday. I hope that your wife improves...
Blessings for a restful night!

That is an excellent pantoum poem. You are in good form with rhymes. Nice work. And I read your author notes. It sounds like a bad situation... Just make sure to follow those doctors orders. I hope the best for the wife and you.

I had a severe back problem that lasted almost eight months, it resulted in sciatica. I could hardly lay or get in and out of bed. I had to prop my work station up and stand all day at my computer. I rarely got more than one or two hours of uninterrupted sleep.
The worse part was thinking it would never end. Your poem describes the futility and inability to process thoughts when severe pain is present.

This a beautiful Plantoum poem and very well written. You must have the art of repeating the lines in this type of poem and you certainly do. The words flowed naturally and made sense.

A nice poem with a picture that is quite fitting. I can feel the frustration and sense of helplessness that occurs when the pain takes over.

Thanks for sharing, Brent.

Dear Tom,
I can very much relate to chronic pain, how it can grab you and seem to steal the very breath you need to survive.
This is a powerful posting and one I am sure many can relate too. Excellent rhyming sequence and smooth read.
Well penned my friend.
Thanks for sharing it.
Maureen
