The biter bit, in the manner of speaking? I assume from the notes that this is/was part of a longer narrative. It's great fun and would perform well on stage with appropriate actions.

A very well-written cowboy Halloween poem. When you have bad thoughts and try to do something wrong if the ghosts cannot get you to make you pay the long arm of the law will get you eventually.

This is a very clever story and a very imaginative use of words and alliteration. I read it three times and in some places the rhyth seemed to be off, but then, if you read it aloud, you probably know when to pause to keep it flowing. Very nice job!

What a cute poem, and excellent entry in the contest. You tell a full story, with beginning, middle and end, and create very detailed characters. I particularly like your use of jargon for Jerry Jing-Jang. I also love his name, by the way, from its alliterative quality to its musicality. Although the meter is a bit off in a couple of places, I like your rhyme scheme, and your choice of rhyming words is excellent.

I enjoyed reading this creative poem about the cowboy and his dog. I have never read a better Halloween poem about Cowboys. In fact that was the first.
