The expression on Sawyer's face is great.
I guess when we are very young we can get into
A lot of mischief but this is what life is all about.

Another priceless picture of on of Sawyer's expressions. It does evoke a mischievous tyke planned devious deeds. I really had to smile. Your abcb rhymed verse brought it out nicely.

What a great little story for children. Here is another one that with its delightful rhyme and engaging story would be perfect to match with illustrations for a children's book. I'd especially be interested in the illustration to go along with the ending. Sawyer's not looking so happy in this one--but still cute!

This write reminded me of a statement made about me more than once. It applies to you as well. "Once a teacher, always a teacher." Personally, I consider it a compliment. That little boy inspires you to write the cutest things. Love this poem about this oh, so evil, boy. But, moms know how to handle little devils. Lol. I wonder what Sawyer is thinking with that look? He is such a sweetie-pie. The worst thing he's been stealing is hearts. All over this site. Haha.
