lovely alliteration in silence has spoken and in stillness sings
I love the photo - is it one of your own?
nice pairing of languish and linger
I really like the imagery of the pearls
beautifully spiritual, expressive closing :-) Brooke

i've yet to qualify as a jeweler, so i look to you. now that i think about it, my muse is more like a box of mixed beads. i seem to write more from wildly random thoughts. i admire such mental organization. i love 'a perfectly imperfect art'. possibly the only higher Power lends perfect hands to guide you. a wonderful impleading to your muse, or perhaps your Muse. nicely crafted Jewell.

On day of awakening, we will have seen how life is leading us. We have to open our heart string of pearls and find that moment of happiness and joy. Do not feel lost but try to find our way back into grace and glory.
Well penned and a great write indeed.
Cheerio, hugs, Ritchie. :))

Dear Jewel,
Your reflective pondering seems magical to me. I enjoyed this one very much, its own power gives a sense of waking dreams, the guidance of heart and soul.
Beautiful poem, much like the bud of flower reflecting as it blooms.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Maureen. It's actually the beginning stanza of another piece previously written. When I reread it, it could have been THREE poems. haha. You know that stream of thought that keeps going? I KNOW YOU DO KNOW.
HUGS, my friend.

LOL - Yup I know!
Hugs back at ya.

Oh my gosh this is so freaking good. I love the line "Stillness sings an unsung tune; one my heart already knew. I become its composer, beguiling, searching, yielding to the litany of lines only a Power greater than I can sing over me!" Wow! That's so good. I've been contemplating writing a poem lately about "stillness." I was thinking of caling it, "Stillness Speaks." But I haven't written it yet.

Dear Jewel,
Thank you for this thoughtful poem. It is homage to that rapping of the muse on the door ofour imagination. I enjoyed reading it and loved the musicality of the piece. Great job--Ted
