The Angwrath says, "You speak in riddles, Radshaw." NEWS FLASH! Call the BBC! More like the understatement of the century! That's like saying Boris Johnson needs a comb.

I guess things are as normal as they're ever going to be for Radshaw. He'll see the Angwrath again, no doubt. I don't think it wants to destroy the world. It wants to live in it. So the world is safe, for now.

Thank you, Cindy :-). Indeed, the Angwrath is a curious and cheeky character. He's about 20 these days, and will be featuring in more stories soon!

Well, it seems Mike won by using his biggest superpower his words. He was able to verbally convince the Angwrath to do right. And it's good to know that he helped heal Amy! Great ending!

I couldn't fathom what "a sarcastic mosquito caught in a tornado" was like but I had to giggle at the idea as well as to the Dolly Partons and Spice Girl with concussion metaphors.

(how's THAT for a geeky thought), (not sure if this requires a question mark or not)

Thanks so much, Helen :-). I liked the idea of ending on a conversation rather than a battle - it felt right! And this way, I get to use the Angwrath in future stories!

I do like and have enjoyed the concluding chapter of the book; catchy is the order of taletelling and expressiveness; realistic taletelling; and plot develops fast forward and flowing; prospective ending; well said, well done, post god speed more, share post not 4 self-joy-pride but 4 God and readers worldwide Alcreator Litt Dear (DR)

Not a bad outcome, to turn a potentially all powerful demonic force into something akin to a Messiah is no mean feat, all the time oozing life force painfully leaving the body. This is very similar ti a Stephen King book some time ago. Mind you Jesus was affectively just a man, with the knowledge that He was God, with the faith that any man can apprehend, if he can overcome his own flesh, Jesus could only pay our ransom if He was just perfect flesh. There you are something to work with. Well done, blessings Roy

Thanks Roy :-). I'm happy youbenjoyed the conclusion. I'm hoping to write more adventures with Mike and the Angwrath, who he can't control, obviously, but can perhaps appeal to.

Yes, I did enjoy this concluding chapter very much. You left just the right mood and tone in my mind, and above all the good didn't die. Great triumph. Kate xx

Thank you so much :-). I loved the image, of Mike, half dead and precarious, trying to talk down a being who could kill him as soon as breathe, but is still just about young enough to be influenced. Is it possible to have that much power, that much thought, and still have a moral conscience? There's something to explore in future stories!

I enjoyed reading this post as much as I have all your posts. Your descriptions are perfect. I could see the nostrils flaring and hear the coughing and wheezing. Oh so good.

lol, cheers mate. I thought of the scene with the Knights at the last moment. I figure it'll allow me to start the next adventure with something a little different in the setup.

I'm planning to publish all the Radshaw stories in a compilation (after a bit of editing). THat should make a good foundation for a full length novel.

You did not disappoint me at all. I enjoyed this very much. Great chapter, terrific sarcasm (I do love sarcasm) that kept me giggling from beginning to end. I do wish I had a 6 to give you for this one. Great work.

Thank you, my dear :-). I had such a good time writing this tale. It's great to be finished but I'm a little sad at the same time.

I have a new project to start but it'll need some research ... watch this space!

This was a great end. I hope you will consider writing another piece about the life of the twelve year old Angwrath after he left Mike. There's a lot of story to be told there. An excellent read. At least there was a happy ending. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Linda :-). A story about the Angwrath - now there's a thought. I'm definitely planning a Mike Radshaw novel but I hadn't thought about focusing more on the Angwrath. Food for thought :-).

I think it would make for a great read. You have left this twelve year old who is maturing rapidly, with lots to consider. I think you could develop something great.
