I don't normally care for love stories, but this one literally kidnapped me and kept me glued to the screen from beginning to end. The husbands ADD was annoying to say the least but I liked how he came around in the end...or at least found something new to obsess about. I anticipated a major breakup with this one and you gave me a pleasant surprise. I would love to read a follow-up of what it is like to be a mother with this man...hey, maybe a book would be a fun challenge. Great work with this one. I enjoyed it immensely. If there were any spags, I didn't see them...I never do.

Too great a challenge to continue to write romance and love stories. y nature just easily slips into the morose with gloom and doom as companions. Wrote this after a few people suggest I 'lighten up.' This is my token vluebrid and rose petal post.

I found it to be a bit lengthy, but nevertheless it captured my attention and I had to continue reading to the end. Apart from a couple errors (just typos) eg: "come to rely of each other" should maybe be "come to rely on each other" it was written extremely well, the characters were realistic, the dialogue was engaging, I found myself to be rooting for both of them and their marriage. :) Sandra

I loved this story!! Easy, fast and interesting read... I WANTED to know what was going to happen next. Great development of characters, I even loved Jake, but maybe that's because I had empathy for his wife. Yes, I should have & sorry I didn't! Your story was engrossing enough to ignore the minor little things which were very little details, i.e., a space left out here and there, a couple of misspelled words (pretence = pretense... I'm surprised spellcheck didn't catch the misspells for you...). Just go through one more time and edit the .txt with fresh eyes to catch them. So... another installment in the tale? :-) Suz.

My spell check reflects the English (UK) version and has an extra letter 'U' in many words. I tried t make the pretence/pretense change and it kept flagging your suggestion as incorrect. Thanks just the same.

You've done a good job with your story line and character development. Jake's ADD is consistent throughout and written about in a realistic way. I like the messages. We need to get to know someone in and out before we marry them and sometimes if we don't, we need to love them anyway. I thought Jake had changed in the end, but he had just found a new focus. Good job! :-)
