This was an interesting poem to read, written in the free verse style, that comments--in a long-winded way--about the difficulties of love. Nice picture.

This poem is beautifully written and has great imagery. I also enjoyed the fact that you didn't use any punctuation and the free verse. Thank you for sharing.

Like the flow of this one, and it had some good imagery, but for me it was a little hard to follow and understand. Still it merits a five in my book!

understandable. I find it hard to explain myself. it really is just thrown out there as a kind of emotional explosion I guess. thank you for the fine review though. mike

Far out! Dude, this is slammin! I dug the groove, "we's in love".... that alone was worth the time to read this! I was reminded of one of my favorite books, "The Great And Secret Show" by Clive Barker... this could have been a synopsis of it!

In a writing that flows like the tide, you have managed to combine nature and human nature in this poem. This is a great piece that begs to be read again and again.

I have never really liked freeverse poetry because I feel like you cannot really make there be any rhythm, rhyme and anything else that makes poetry, poetry. That being said, (personal feelings aside) I feel as though you used very good imagery, the topic was very deep, and I only saw one error, we's instead of we are which I think actually was on purpose, so overall, since freeform is a type of poetry, I will grade you on your skill with words. Four stars!

yes, we's was intentional. thank you for a fine review in spite of your feelings. this is funny as I dislike anything that rhymes! hahaha. but, like you I try to put that aside and read the content and consider the words and meaning. looks like we have a truce. hahaha

:P yes, :P a truce it shall be! *shakes hand* By the way I gave you four not five only because it didnt rhyme, but I think you did great. :P

I found this to be a very thought-provoking poem, I read it twice for I knew I didn't get it all the first time. It captured my attention from start to finish, your writing skills are amazing. I wish I had a six-star rating to give. You are very talented. :) Sandra

I am a new writer to this site but I am learning more about poetry all the time thanks to this venue. I would suggest some color to the poem by the use of colored text or an added picture that can help enhance your poem. Maybe some space between stanzas might help break up this long poem into thoughtful sections.

yes, thank you. those are some good points. I am new as well. I have noticed that many of the works I read have lovely art work and nice backgrounds etc. still figuring all that out. but, you are motivating me to give it some attention. you are totally correct it does make a big difference. good advice.

This was beautiful, what an amazing poem. The imagery was wonderful and your word choice was perfectly poetic. The emotions just dripped from every word and I loved it. Great job.
