I am probably decades your senior, but I remember those times. I had a crush on a guy and thought if he didn't like me back I would just croak. Then one day another boy and I just started talking and that evening I realized I had not thought about the other one all day. You have written this very well, Good luck in the contest. Yeah, one day I will meet that special someone I just had high hopes for this relationship and unfortunatly I got made second choice.
