Talk about "creativity"--I enjoyed your creative sandwich--must be your inner-child at work! I liked your addition of rhyme too. We have a Legoland in California too, but I've never been. Happy Saturday- Joan

Thank you Joan, glad you liked it. It's a great place to bring kids or Grandkids.

Hi, Treischel,
Excellent description of the lego court. It has good flow and rhyme but follows no perceptible rhyme scheme that I can discern. Set the mood of enjoyment for the kids and relaxation for the adults.

I had to laugh at the last line, Treishel, most apt! We have Lego Land here in England, and children love it. Nicely written poem.

I tired to find your contest entry about that face, but they don't show the list on FS contest, only on prompts, so I couldn't review it. It's nice to see how others see illustrations, its the same with an art, we all see something different. Quite good fun really. Back to todays, Excellent poem, and a delight to read. xsx Sandra

Thank you Sandra. Yes, can't we elders identify.
The is another way to find it. It in my profile within a book called "Commentary and Philosophy", it's Chapter 43 of that book. The name of the poem is "Oh Creation". If it worth the trouble to look.

I found it, and as soon as I started to read it, I knew it, and had already reviewed it. It was a wonderfully written poem, Good luck in the contest!! xsx

I was just going to ask you but then you wrote it in your foot note. You made this form up. It is very nice. So this is also in the shopping mall?

Thaks again sunnilicious. Hope I'm not getting boring and predictable.

Well, it's a series. So it is partial predictable. But it's not boring. Nice work. Goodnight :)

Have I ever told you Tom, that I am totally in awe of your great erudition where poetic forms and the "stuff" concerning the technicalities of poetry?

You've created your own sandwich here, and a very tasty, satisfying one it is, too!

And the LEGO review is longer than the LEGO poem ....:)

Thank you Sonali. Yes, you just might have, not that I mind. That's the way with these small forms. Reviews longer forms.

A triple haiku style poem capturing three generations and how they respond to the land of Lego!
delightful style Tom. I think this could catch on :)
Kind regards

I like the creativity in utilizing shorter formats, as they greatly express the joys of childhood play;
"Elders rest"--a great conclusion as the needs of fatigued parents are satiated.

Sounds like a nice place to take the kids, while parents and grandparents can enjoy a nice lunch while the children play. Great job. Sararb :)

You're darn right the elders rest! Geesh, that place'll kill ya!

L wish we had a Mall of America in our little red-neck town. The nearest mall to us is the EastGate Mall, and that is a 40 minute drive away. It's not even 1/3 the size of the Mall of America, either. A few good stores, Hollister, Gucci, and my personal favorite, Barne's & Noble Booksellers.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. There's a Victoria's Secret, too...

Ain't life grand?
