That came out super cute. I would attribute it to the end rhyme of vale, trail, tale. Creative and flowing with visual imagery. Great. Good luck in the contest!

You did a great job with this one. I enjoyed reading it a lot. It looks to be very challenging to write. Have a great evening. Sara :)

Hi, Treischel,
You can identify the form any way you want but I am sure that hailezane refers to Zane Grey the master of the Western genre. I like it.

Shame you missed the prompt, because this is very good. Of course, I am an avid lover of all things equestrian, so I just might be a bit biased. But, I don't think so, I've read most all of the other entries in the contest. And, as I said, this one is very good. You had a great chance at winning, Mr. 'T'!

Amazing: I thought these shorter poems were often easier to write, until I actually tried to do so! Difficult to paint a picture with three lines and precise syllable count.

I can interpret several things from this lovely short work. Being a Texas rancher and raised around horses, I realize there is a "freedom" in setting sail, away from everything and everyone: Just you, the horse, and the sky.

Very nice read and wonderful effort

What a delightfully short and clever write. Most enjoyable form which is totally
new to me also. A very enjoyable read. Love the picture. I must get out and about more but the
summer heat gets to me. Smiles. Robin :)
