Nice poem with an abab style.

I find it illogical that machines built with a base program of serving humanity will end up rebelling.

Feelings are a human characteristic that defy the cold logic of a machine.

Hi Kidlike. The poem is a fantasy epic, however, if science and technology discovers a way to replicate the human brain (a feasible possibility in this century, particularly since successful synthetic duplicates of other vital organs have been produced, with plans for use as human body replacement parts) than robotic - human replication could become problematic. I don't discount any conceivable idea regarding future technology, although, I can't imagine production of human replicas that are completely self reliant - this being our precautionary defense. So, apprehension of a human take over is extremely unrealistic. Thanks for your comments and considerate rating. Have a great night! JR

Hey nice work! When i'm not writing poetry, I'm a mechanical designer and production line strategist. Great to see my two passions rolled in one....

Complex technology is ready
To change the world and all its parts
While mass production remains steady
Global promotion promptly starts

Well done!

A very interesting poem, JRae. It has a story within it's stanzas and show the different side of technology. It could easily be expanded into an amazing Sci Fi book. Well done.

regards, Jen

Sounds like you must be quite a "Techie" to come up with such a informative, descriptive piece as this. Wow, a personal Helper/Cleaning Bot! I want one! Can I get mine to look like my Mr. Darcy?

I can see the human race gets fatter as we do less and less and the Bots do more and more. Machines taking over human tasks; this has been more and more so and technology continues to advance at a fast pace.

Great poem! It is well-written with great rhymes.

Hi loibeth. LOL, I'm sure that you'll be able to order a Mr. Darcy replica in the future. Can you imagine a partner that loves to go shopping but doesn't eat the groceries, is always helpful, attentive and never fatigued. My soul mate :) Thank you so much for your wonderful comments and considerate rating. Have a lovely night! JR

This is a very good poem. I am a great fan of science-fiction, so this is right up my street. I love the idea of robots running amok and taking over. This paints a very vivid picture.

Hi Tomes. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the read. My business and renewed writing interest doesn't allot for much TV but I still catch an occasional Sci-fi movie and was a huge fan of the V (TV series) many moons ago :) I appreciate your generous comments and considerate rating. Have a great night! JR

Could be a bad thing, could be a good thing; it depends on what I saw on the news that night. Anyway, isn't it funny where your mind can take you when you drop the reins. Ever written something, and then find it a few weeks later and say, "Did I write that?" Great job and imagination on this piece, Riddle

Hi Nancy. The poem was only conjecture run amok but I'm inclined to agree with breakthroughs like nanobot technology and micro-chip implants but it boils down to market and demand. The public needs to get an education and can battle parts of technology through consumer awareness and purchase resistance. I appreciate your thoughtful comments and generous rating. Have a lovely day! JR

Android's report: Poetically sound; technically connected; technologically advanced; word perfect for the computer literate ; but hopeless news for the semi - and illiterate - soon there will be no humans here - the Androids will be taking over - over and out!

Wow, this was extremely well written! I am going to keep an eye out for your future work.

Perfect human imitation
And biologic works of art
With simulated high brain function
Autonomously mega-smart

REALLY GREAT ^^
