It is a beautiful poem.
I liked the comparision of movement of bee with ballet dance.it is the most elegant and beautiful dance form.it has alliteration too in first, second and last line.good luck

They do pirouette with grace while gliding flower to flower. The flight of the bumblebees - Ali in a tutu ( floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee).

A Springtime Ballet is a well constructed Tonka that paints a beautiful picture of nature. I particularly like the use of the word pirouetting. Good luck in the contest.

This was a very beautiful poem and I loved reading it. The only technical issue that I would point out is that "springtimes" should be "springtime's." Great job!

Indeed, and boy do we love to "beehold" them! Very nicely done with this one. You gotta love the spring time. It's always such a welcome relief!

A very nice entry for the tanka poetry contest. The syllable count is spot on and the picture is perfect for the poem. I wish you luck in the competition. Regards Dorothy

Its so nice to imagine a bee dancing, I remember 53 years ago I was pregnant with my second son, working in the kitchen and a bee stinged me on my back, who that hurts, in our country they say rub the sting with a piece of raw garlic, I did that, it was better.
