lovely pairing of your beautiful photo and poem, which is in excellent 5/7/5 form
I like the repetition of wild and the alliteration in
wherever wind and nurtured by nature
you create a scene that is both easy and inviting to visualize :-) Brooke

Thank you very much Brooke.

Haikus are typically or always about nature. May I ask why you didn't title it one? Well no matter, this is lovely. I like how you break it up with a comma in the first line, ellipses yes? The piece paints a great image. Love the notes too, an interesting flower. You love flowers and nature!

Thank you Gregory. Yes, I am very in to nature.

Do you make it up to Canada a lot? My father in law is Canadian. Beautiful place.

I've traveled all over Canada when I worked. I spend a year traveling to all the Provinces up there looking for businesses that could be our suppliers on a Contract we had that required Canadian Content. Since I've retired I haven't gotten up there.

The wild flowers of nature and wherever their seeds fall, nature will nurture them. Good alliteration. The wild flowers will continue to propagate and telling us to give them a chance to survive and not be destroyed by our greed. They will remind us not to forget who we are - as wild and carefree as them.
Great write and well expressed.
Cheerio, Ritchie.

the saying goes, 'A weed is only a weed, when it grows in the wrong place.' And I suppose it is true. But I do think nature has given the world such beauty to look at, all around us, we will find these beautiful wild flowers, and they truly are a wonder of nature. Your photo is sheer art! xsx Sandra

Thank you so much Sandra. Yes, I totally agree. Good to hear from you. How is the move going? You must be busy. One of my brothers just visited Madrid. I'll have to get to Spain, England, Ireland, and Scotland some day.

Very nice work, keeping to the requirements of 5-7-5 and painting a pretty picture, and reminding us that are free spirits so to speak. Nice pic. too.

Another pretty, thoughtful little piece from you, oh, most prolific one!
I love walking endlessly and picking flowers and leaves, sometimes, to press and create into other things.

Excellent photo to complement this little poem. Wild flowers can be the most beautiful in our surroundings like you tell us in your lovely 5-7-5 poem: nurtured by nature.

I love this 5-7-5 poem about wildflowers, seeds and nature. I love wild flowers. I had rather receive a bouquet of wildflowers that someone had picked for me, than any cold storage expensive flowers. I love this last verse. Wild flowers, wild seeds grow wherever the winds takes them. nurtured by nature. Lovely poem! Sara :)

Thanks Sara. I'll be writing more wild flower poems, since I recently took a bunch of pictures.

You can buy wild seeds on a mat. Lay on the lawn. Sprinkle with water as necessary and grow your own wildflower garden. I love the informercial. But majority of the time, growing wildflowers is just like your haiku poem. Excellent work.

Thank you sunnilicious. You can do that and I've seen it done. When I lived in Colorado Springs on Cheyenne Mountain, we used to do that between the scrub oak in our yard. That works well.
