This reminds me of when I hiked Walden Pond and really felt Thoreau's presence there especially by his desk.
HD has been my muse forever and you poem honors him and all of his work.

I'd be off to Scotland to see the castles and walk were all the famous warriors walked and fought their famous battles. Lovely poem and I enjoyed it immensely. Wonderful work with this one.

Word trips can be great trips.. I say to my husband ... We are in the Bahamas in our Pajamas.. Though your verse is a way better trip than that ..There are no llamas.
I liked it. A lot especially I've cried with you in shivering worry... This shows how intense your love is.. Well done
