The author is obviously a keen observer and lover of nature that he captured all that what he enjoys, the flash of the moment, and frame them all in mental shots through beautiful words. Kudos.

Battered bench, Glistening grass,soothing sun, red rhododendron, cherry colored camellia, fine flowers etc! You should use spell check to make it perfect. LOL Almost every line has alliteration in it. A very expressive poem and made me wish I were there. Well done Nancy

Like some of your descriptions here - we all have a favorite spot to sit and observe. Just watch your verb tenses. The first 4 lines are in past tense, the rest in the present.

This poem is a well written free verse poem. I t has vivid mental imagery that takes the reader to that place and can feel the breeze, hear the birds and taste the gentle rain. Nice work. :0 GracieAnn

Sounds like you found your "Happy" place.I'd love to find one just like it.Your free verse I thought was a very good read.Golly,I felt relaxed just reading it .It made me feel serene,I could see the robin and almost feel the breeze.thanks for sharing.
