Nice to see a photo with both of you in it. Sorry he died so long and when you were alive you could not meet frequently as you lived in different countries.

Another six- deserving-poem but haven't got any left. A simple poem but the format and rhymes fit it perfectly. I can feel the emotion here.

Hi Treischel,
This is excellent poetry as usual. It has excellent rhyme, meter, repetition and alliteration and metaphor--I like "turned on a freak dice throw". Your output of good poetry is phenomenal.
I am glad that politics has little to do with the quality of poetry.

Wow! Another good picture of both of you. What a wonderful tribute to an obviously loving relationship between siblings. Thank you for the author's notes as well on this one.

Hi Tom,
As I read this work my mind drifted to my mother's passing last May. Like you, my thoughts whirled and the "what if's" bogged me down for a while. Yet when I am in nature, my walks of deeper reflection and contemplation I have those moments when I feel compelled to talk to her. Those moments fill me with love that was not there for me in her life.
Anyway I truly understood this work. Felt the sense of wonder as you wander through your own life. Precious are all those moments no matter what they bring to you.
A wonderful work of deep reflection. I'm going on a virtual walk soon, the sun shines, the leaves are blowing so I can imagine a warm breeze....perfect....come join me:D
Thanks for sharing.

So easy when we're young and bold,
But lately I've been feeling old.
I feel the memories getting cold,
With thoughts of you.
Funny how it happens that way isn't it? We feel the pangs of life as they slowly drift away. This is a great write Tom and certainly it tells of the love you felt for your brother.

Lovely, my dear poet. So sad, but yet filled with happy memories of old. Hold on to those memories. Life's not through with you, yet. Get up and do some safe fun things to make yourself feel young again. You ain't old, you're just seasoned.
