I think we forget to believe as we get older. Faith is the assured expectation of things believed, even if unseen. The majority of mankind do not believe in anything, if only self.

This is quite the pondering piece Vance. Directionally pointed to self, this piece makes one stop for a moment and not hurry on by. I love it.

So what you're saying here is that God hears all
about the things you don't want, therefore if that
is what you think of it is what you get. Human nature
dictates the negatives rather than allowing our true
wants to surge forth in our minds. Faith in knowing
God will serve it up is the only way to get it. I

Thanks for you feedback and glad you got my meaning as I want to encourage people to concentrate on what they want instead of fearing and worrying about what they don't want. God made us "CREATORS'and we do that with our minds. If we create bad things we get them just as simply as good things! We create good things when we are in a state of LOVE AND GRATITUDE. We create bad things when we are in a state of FEAR and FEELING WE ARE A VICTIM. It's all really simple but not so easy to keep our minds in the right place. That's why we are encourated to pray and give thanks. To know the power of creativity that GOD has given us would keep anyone from seeing themselves as a helpless victim of life! I read your excllent poem about God having aMcdonlads in heaven

If I understand it correctly when we enter Heaven we are in NO need for anything and I wonder if we need to eat.

To me God is testing us to see how blessed we are not to be in need
Besides what one would do they have luxury car in heaven?

Dear Gert: Actually my message was meant to reflect the fact that most people don't take time to really think about what they want in life. The great wizards of teaching success in life such as Napolean Hill and so many others have all beseeched us to pray about it, get in line with GOD, write down what you want and see it manifest before your eyes. The best our generation can do is go into a McDonalds or an Apple store and even if God Himself/Herself offered anything for free, they still would not know what they want. All they know is what they DON'T want so guess what they get.?There's no need to wait for Heaven as it won't be any different there if we don't learn how to use blessings HERE..that's WHY we are here in the first place! My interpretation of life ..... Blessings, Vance

I'm a huge fan of manifesting (check out author Stuart Wilde)Nice demonstration lesson on metaphysics.It IS as accessible as a McDonalds,yet people ARE so "not used to" being PROACTIVE and CURIOUS (I heard there's even a dumbed down cash register with food pics instead of numbers)They just automatically walk into the lair and rote off the stupid cutesy names of the junkfood items and don't even WONDER what the McRib is made of...If they would THINK and CHALLENGE,they WOULD "have it their way"(WITNESS THE SOMEWHAT "HEALTHIER" menu these recent years)But back to YOU-This was a delicious food for thought,filled with super natural ingredients and a truly healthy alternative to the lack of taste these human trash recepticals so obliviously accept

Thanks for the thanks and the continued nominations. Unfortunately,"judges" are a bunch of jealous hacks who get evil satisfaction out of dismissing and TRYING to insult other "judges"(reviewers like me) OR REAL TALENT....Let me tell ya a little story,Uncle Jed.I,albeit arrogant "sounding",am a VERY GOOD singer.(If I was EXCELLENT,I'd be an opera singer)I am forever on key,I can hold notes,perform the proper inflections and nuances at their proper times:(hiccups,uh huhs,Conway Twitty growls,basey tones,nasal tones,dramatic pauses,and impersonations.)I DARE SAY I AM AN INCREDIBLE OLDIES/COUNTRY SINGER...So,here i am at a karaoke contest,doing a RESPECTFUL and FAITHFUL to the original "your cheating heart"....the audience LOVED me.The 3 "judges" all said It was SCARY (their words)how much I sounded like Hank and they can tell I'm an EXCELLENT singer(their words)and that I was really "into it"....BUT they wanted to hear "MY VOICE"and proceeded to give me the same low scores as the worst singer there that night.(several people in the audience slapped me five and grabbed/shook hands with me as i made my way out the door-never to return.The "Morale"of the story?I just so happen to "catch" mistakenly transmitted margin notes Tom was making to one of my past reviews that was nominated(I AM humble on THIS point,cause 3 OF YOU FINE FOLKS NOMINATED ME SEVERAL TIMES!THANK YOU,INDEED.)His remarks were not very supportive.So here we are.YOU are the world's GREATEST poet...and I'm your BIGGEST fan....cheers,Val. P.s.please give a little feedback on that TV script "treatment" I wrote about you...I gotta esoteric movie idea that might sell about 2 American icons
