A nice and complicated puzzle by the looks of it. You described very well in this poem how you went about this tedious work. Nice the last bit in mono-rhyme.

You must have the patience of a saint. You ever try one of those puzzles where all the pieces are cut the same or three-d puzzles? Anyway, quatrains and closing mono rhymes was a good choice for this piece- precise and fitting together like a puzzle.

Thank you Ravenblack. Yes, I've done a 3d ancient globe, and the Titanic, the 3 2000 piece ones, I've framed- DaVinci's Last Supper, Van Gogh's Starry Night, and this one, Alpende's Workshed.

Congratulations on the jigsaw puzzle. I might remember Hallmark with a few 5000 piece jp's also. It's something to investigate.

Good rhymed quatrains poem. Excellent work.

Great work Treischel! Whilst I'm not personally much of a puzzle builder, I found this story managed to give it a feel of thrill and excitement I wasn't expecting. It had a very strong opening instantly setting the scene and I loved picturing you and your wife standing there ever so proudly admiring your finished master piece. I can't find any grammatical errors and really enjoyed reading it. Good job and congrats on finishing the puzzle!

What an awesome puzzle and what a job it must have been, but it should have been fun. The poem is a real neat finisher to the project. You should frame it and put it beside the puzzle. Great piece. God loves you and I do too.

Excellent! Congratulations on finishing your puzzle... I remember finishing my largest puzzle, it was only 1000 pieces though. I literally leaped for joy for ten minutes, then I wept for an hour after my 6 year old cousin destroyed it before my eyes! Nice work, I like the ten syllable parameters, it makes the poem a challenge as well, and you succeeded!

Thank you William. That would be tough to watch the 6 year old tear it apart.

So good this one Treischel. It felt like you were writing about way more than the completion of a puzzle ... I like how you bring words together to give your reader something to think about. xoxo Kiwi

I love the picture - it is so nostalgic and old-fashioned. So this is an actual puzzle that you did! I love puzzles - I did a 2000 piecer when I was 5. What a well written poem!
