Sometimes a smile is more then just pleasure, it can be construed as competitive, or a challenge. This is very well written. Good job.

As I haven't been following this book, I cannot comment on how the storyline is going. I can comment on your grammar, which is fine. Thank you for sharing.

Written with an educated eye as to how native lore is interpreted by Wasicu. Using the ride back to HQ is a sensible vehicle (pardon the pun) in which to tell the reader who's who and what's what. Sparse dialogue, without SPAG enhances a growing sense of unease on Rick's part. A good read..looking forward to more.

You give a great description of Jana's plight as she tries to walk between her work as a police officer and her standing as a Native American. She goes along with not making too much of her uncle's claim that a dead person was getting someone living to do his or her bidding. Spooky. The feeling is that this is a professional killer, one who doesn't make mistakes. Enter the hot shot profiler. Love that name Dresden Stredwick III. Sounds like he's on TV a lot. He should be an interesting character added to the mix. Wonder if the killer will spook him. judi

Thanks so much, Judi. I love this review. You're reading my mind again! Yes, the killer will have a, let's just say, strong reaction to Dresden. Much appreciate your support, my friend.

GREAT! I especially liked the gripping start that made it easy to continue reading. If a story has a catchy start, readers have more incentive to continue reading. It caught my attention:)
