Another interesting and intriguing chapter, Bev, that still keeps us all guessing. Not being a patient person at all, I can't imagine having the patience to write such a mystery/story as you have here. I'll admit I want to know who the murderer is. I love how you combine mystery with some supernatural. As always, another chapter full of excellent dialogue and description and, once again, leaving your reader wondering about the outcome.
By the way, I'm glad you see you are nominated for book of the month (or whatever it's called). You got my vote and it looks like lots of others too!

Another fabulous post - the stillness and inner thoughts of your characters really impressed me.
It gave the reader a greater 3D affect of the inner story. Loved the details and the mixture of native and white law. The Feds showing up I am sure will not impress the killer.
I'd be prone to sit back and watch to see who gets a little more rattled with the Feds around.

Hi Bev! Just had to read a chapter even though I haven't kept up with your book. I'll read it in real book form someday right? Love stopping in and reading a chapter every now and then. Love your easy flow very descriptive story. Its the little things I like, like hands in his pockets arms tight to his side. I can see that. The dialogue is crisp and professional sounding, as if these characters are real. Just super! I was right therewith them.
