This poem " fight another day " give me the push that I really need to wrising as an author. I will remember those words every time I woke up in the morning. Isn't the life for strong not for the weakest ?

Thank you for sharing your inspirational free-verse with random rhymes. (In the first stanza, I think "was" should be "were" and in the third stanza, "your words" lost its first "r".) What I love most about this fine free style verse, Jaq, is the wonderful contrast between confident survival and fragility. It reads beautifully with very smooth flow and leaves the reader feeling very positive. Awesome, Jaq, simply awesome!

A very touching poem about surviving the odds one after another and still able to get up from the floor. No more lies, no more deceit and no more believing in falsehoods. Wake up to reality and not be trodden by anyone - only out to cheat and lie to get what they want.
All of us have been there before - out of love, cast alone to face our own music and melody. Others just couldn't understand and even said "I told you so!".
Excellent write and well expressed and a good lesson for others to learn to stand up and fight our ground.

I looked back at your piece. The main issue is the rhythmic formula. I'm more than willing to explain what I mean, but it will be later in the day after I get a few hours of sleep.

Sorry for the time it took me to respond, things have been hectic. My mention before was about poetic verse, if broken up this reads find; however clustered there's too many stops and goes (if that makes since).
