Thanks for your support and yeah, it seems I've been banned from one section of those posts now at the very top of the top of the front page...ahh well, not to worry. My voice shall live on in mute! LMAO (nothing to do with THIS write though) This was another one I had in my sites! LOL

With you all the way on this one. I used to fan back as a courtesy but now am more selective. Got tired of reviewing a bunched of fanned stuff w/ out being reviewed back. Or when I'd speak the truth about a piece- oh no, can't do that. And as regards to the visa gold players on the top 12 ( some of them)- when you are watching a game, the bleachers are better than box seats anyway. They cost less and are a far more accurate slice of humanity than having to pay for the priveledge of sitting insulated on high, waiting for accolades 'cause it pays well.

LOL I felt a little obliged when I first started to fan people back but not without checking work out first. With that said I resent people ASKING or automatically expecting it. We're all here for a reason, time pending or time to burn, its OUR choice, each and every one of us what we frickin well do with it.
I totally agree with your review and I love your writes too...unique, quirky, not afraid to jump right out of the box with your own style...Love it.

this is very well written, closetpoetjester, you did an excellent job writing this poem about the expected return policity of fanship. i feel bad when i don't fan someone back but i have over 200 fans and i'm lucky to get 25 reviews so fanship is not all it's made up to be. my pet peeve is when someone who shall remain nameless encourages you to buy their book of poems everytime you review them or alvin saying you need to take my class to learn true haiku because the contest committee is not promoting haiku, it's 5 7 5.

Yes, Sue I guess it was a little coy of me but I just didn't want to come out with both guns blazing. As steamed as I was with this person, I didn't feel they needed the brunt of my anger, just a straightforward explanation. Thought I might aswell cull any notwannabe fans while I was there. Thanks mate. Yep, thats me...boldly going where no man has gone before! LOL No sure about eloquently but I get steamed now and again and I guess this is the "now"...haha
I believe you earn your fans fair and square...thats how I look at it. Unfortunately we don't always get the time to check out everyones work and quite possibly miss fanning some beaut writers..it IS just a matter of time before you meet up with the right people. Cheers P x

I don't review everything I read. That's just my style. Folks can take it or leave it but that's my style. I review like I am shopping in a book store. I don't send letters off to the authors whose book I choose not to buy.
