I remember when it became legal in my state for women to go topless. A few women went out to show support for this new freedom, but it didn't last. I thought that if men could go topless, women should be able to also, even though I wouldn't be comfortable doing so. If we are going to be a society of wearing clothes, it should apply to both sexes.
Thinking of senryu class, is it humor, satire, irony?
Irony: a bra is supposed to support our breasts, but it also separates them.
satire: I think of the man who created the bra for women.
humor: bosom buddies - close, intimate friends.
I would say you have all three.

Lol! I love that painting! Of course, I also love going braless. I'm not so sure I would want women to be able to go shirtless in public but there are days when I would love to go shirtless at home. :)
