I'm giving you a standing ovation girl. This is brilliant and I couldn't have said it better myself.
I for sure am sickened with the front page of late. How reviews in hundreds of fives could possible be right?? Yup not for me - even reviews from that one on my work leave me scratching my bloody head.
It's rather embarrassing to look at that work and think wtf - then I usually wonder how is this showcasing FanStory - all it does is pull it way down. Yet I gaze numbed and shake my head how is he able to do that????
Here's a sixer cause your brilliant - your rhythm and rhyme girl makes me weep - how the heck do you do it so easily and so bloody well - envious free verser:D

I really appreciate your support, I said it all in my poem and I do welcome the responses and voices that are ringing out in unison.
Funny, for my 52c I got 150 look in's, 30 - 40 reviews of quality and 15+ sixers.

I really appreciate your candid thoughts on the Fanstory showcase thing...I actually googled up fanstory as I couldn't get on here through my normal channel...and one of the blogs asked if it was a scam or real...I'm starting to wonder mate.

Great abcb rhyme scheme and you certainly let whoever it is have with both barrels blazing. It's true that ranking has little to do with quality or talent in some instances that I've observed but it is a bit of a game after all. I do admire the stance you've taken and can see that the cause is being taken up by others here now too, very well done!
Without activists with conviction nothing changes and history has taught us that I'd think. I enjoyed your tirade very much thank you, well written!

I have to stand for what I believe in which is cult figures attempting to take over this site with ill informed verse and incoherent not to mention incomplete sentences.

Well I made my point and thats the main thing. People are also supporting it. Lets hope people either rate drivel properly or just by pass it...which is what I plan to do from now on...not real sure this one wants the little Closet's help.

Having religion does not necessarily make someone honest. Good job! (I especially liked this;

can leave your readers reeling
but, I usually laugh and feel sorry for them instead of reel. People behave that way when they are insecure in their own abilities.)

I like the way you think.
I believe FAITH and RELIGION are actually two seperate things that can go hand in hand ultimately.
But with no religion like I said, I still have an inner faith of my own that I'll get things done and be a good neighbour and friend to my fellow man.
Just because you are stamped with RELIGION doesn't make you Christian.
You have to SHOW that side I feel.

Why don't more people think like us?
I do agree with the Do unto others and Live and let live...but I can't stand by and let someone crush the poetic abiility and inspiration on this site for God or cult like status.

I can honestly say that someone crushing others for whatever reason is not of God. I have gotten some of those type reviews and correspondence, but I consider the source. I have also gotten nasty reviews and comments because I wrote of God. Not everyone can just brush it off, though. Whether or not people are ever published or succeed with their writing, they still deserve to enjoy it. Those that put others down out of spite will do so for whatever reason they can find to do it. It doesn't really have anything to do with a religious belief. It is something they do to feel powerful. Enjoy your writing and encourage others to do so also, no matter what anyone else has to say about it. I know I will. MN :)

I love your no-holds-barred tell it like it is attitude--refreshing as anything here on FS (where honesty often takes a backseat to sensitivity). The quatrains flow beautifully and you delivered an honest and genuine message to the FS community, while exposing the hypocrisy of many who've been giving fluff reviews to rack up dollars. The quatrains flow beautifully and you delivered an honest and genuine message to the FS community, while exposing the hypocrisy of many who've been giving fluff reviews to rack up dollars. Well I thank you for the info about the percentages...I'll be sure to be taking a wide birth of real crap from now on...guess its gonna take most of us to do that to quash those badly arranged posts that insult our poetic splendor.

There are too many authors that are favored, just look at who wins most of the contests. I don't promote because in the end, what do you receive for it, NOTHING!!!. You spend hours reviewing to gain member dollars and you need a minimum of $80 to get featured and in the end, you still get NOTHING!!!
