Great job Sharyn (I am right right?) I enjoyed your poem, especially the part about chocolate icecream... OK I am a little fanatical about chocolate. Anyways I love how you had a direct story line but left it open enough for others to have their own interpretation!

The enjambment is perfect. The structure flows like ice cream from a sugar cone. Very passionate, alive, and beautifully tied to nature with gulls and sea salt from the ocean. Good luck with the contest! Lees

Sharyn, This poem is written with emotion and visual imagery, allowing the reader to feel like they are part of the poem. I could almost feel the salty sea mist and am mentally able to see those miserable sea gulls. I hate those birds!!! Your poem is lovely. Carole

I like this sweet cute poem. I think that ice creamed flavored kisses have to be some of the most delicious kind. Not only do you get the sweetness, you also get the cold sensations which could truly be welcomed on a hot summer day.
