This is a mystery , true or not true? The age old question of the seance. This was a very good entry and told a scary story. I have read a few other entries, I have one myself, and they are all really good. Good luck in the contest, I think we are all going to need it.

This is so intriguing! Now, where do we go from here? I am ready for this ride. "She foams from the mouth like a rabid dog." You have so much action and movement in so little space. This is just masterful. I wish I had more stars to share.

I'm sure that you know seances are real, and the spirits and demons that can be called upon during one even worst. I liked the mystic mystery to your 55 word story. It had the air of creepiness needed to enhance the subjects mood. However, I've never seen a medium foam at the mouth, unless she was pulling a fast one or possessed. Kudos. ;)

Good subject, and one that everyone has different ideas about. Love the artwork and you've written it well. Good set-up with the thumping and the foaming mouth, great descriptions for the reader.

aaah, this is such a difficult prompt amahra! You've given us a good summary, but not a good "story" with a beginning, middle and end and I THINK that's what they're looking for in this piece. But I could be totally wrong! :)S

Your description, although brief, of what goes on in a seance tells what goes on. The trickery, the sleigh of hand like a magician and gullible people taking it all in.
