Aww this is so pretty, and yet I still felt a little sad when I was done reading it. If I were able to I would give you a six for it, I like the sincerity, the simplicity and just the idea behind it. Lovely. Truly, lovely.

I loved the way you gave emotions to each color of the rainbow- and I liked the ending - a palette of feelings, a rainbow of me. - a rainbow gives us hope.

Red is the sunset that whispers your name,
Orange the dance of the flickering flame.
Yellow a colour I've known so well,
Green is the monster that dwelleth in hell.
Blue is my brother, we argue and fight,
Indigo so peaceful, the gentlest of light.
Violet the morning, the dawn where I see,
A palette of feelings, a rainbow of me.

I feel a rainbow of emotions within your words.
The red sunset whispers the name of a lost love, the orange dance that of a love that still burns within. Green the monster of jealousy who tears at your mind. The rest escapes me in definition(sorry)
This one offers quite a rainbow of emotions that make up who you are and what you feel. I like this one my friend. A bit off the mark from what I usually read of your work. But still a great piece.
Well done technically.
all my best

Love this one, bud! A poetic assessment of the loveliest colors is just what the doctor ordered this morning. ;) Leaves the reader with a little sigh. Good stuff, man. ;)

I guess I have to give the hat back, don't I?

I liked this a lot, Grant. It's good. I liked the idea of a person as a rainbow. Always enjoy your writing...which I can almost always understand...I liked green...I thought that was a good line. :) No suggestions...I liked it!

Nice job. Simple looking at it from one view, complex from another. I love the way you wrote about two seemingly ordinary subjects and made them so unique.

Quick, Quirky, definetly colorful. I like the intro, it gives one pause to look a little deeper. It rocks, bro.
We're not getting too many people and BMD, what gives? Ya think because it's made up mostly of FS people?
BTW...where's Jose? PM me.

Beautiful, colorful words to describe the rainbow of you. I hope this means things are going good in your life and you're happier now?? I love colors and use it a lot when I write as well. Your descriptions are brilliant and creative. My favorite is violet and red, (not together, but my fave)! Excellent poem!

This is wonderful. It's easy to read, understandable, and meaningful. It's difficult to do all three in poetry, I find, but you've done it well.

In addition, the writing is flawless.

Well done.
