I really felt the dry nearly dead body of a failing relationship. Maybe rain would have helped, but it could just as easily washed any remains away. Nicely done. The flow and the stuttered lines helped with the irregular heartbeat feeling.

This is so powerful and actually moved me to tears. The first stanza was especially powerful for me, but in truth, the whole poem mirrors exactly how I am feeling. Not sure if I should thank you for that :)
