This startled me a bit, to start with, but then I caught your drift. It's a brilliant piece, Vance, in my view. And what clever rhyming! And so true. I know I'm furious with myself when self pity grabs me. I look around at all I have, which admittedly isn't a great deal, but it's a heck of a sight more that some poor people. Especially those who've lost their houses in fires or floods. I dislike myself intensely for a while!!
Very well done, old man. I wish I could give you more than six.
