Vance you got my thoughts going when years back of I was
wearing the ugly cloak of self-pity, and the sour sound of whining almost frighten away my future happiness.
Never again. There is a better way was God who chnged my attitude.

Gert...thanks for your inspiring words! I think we all have sunken into those bad places and it's so worthwhile to stand back and look at why it happened and what you can do to change. Then the poets run for a pen and paper to record it and share it in the nature of the poets quiet mission to try and teach and save others from the hurts by shining that guiding light! You do it so well my friend and your help to me is really appreciated! Vance

Val: We are somehow strangely "connected" and there MUST be a reason, a purpose behind that bigger than us! I've prayed for years to understand what "state of mind" a human can reach that would be "bulletproof" from negative emotions and it's come to me that it's GRATITUDE. Now I'm on a mission to gather the wisdom words, and encouragement of all the poets I can reach to help me PROPOGATE this emotion more broadly than just our poetic circles but to the average person out there. I'm driven with this and you must feel my frenzy and frustration as at my age, I'm in a bit of a hurry!! Hey Michael: Great to hear from you! I'm finally back from the winging round the biz world and glad to find this lovely message from you...so many thanks. BTW Were you able to receive and decipher that epexegesis I wrote to you in my "gangster" persona? It was so long that I wondered if it jammed up the reply box as it did not even retain a copy in my replies box! I't an alter-ego demon I go to at times as I'm often told I look like Robert Dinero so I use it "smartassedly" for fun at times! Thanks again..Vance
