A lovely verse of observation and memory. Well written with grace and
form. A joy to read. Another of your fine pictures from your collection.
Maybe I should buy a good camera. thanks for sharing. Robin :)

Thank you Robin. What is so nice, today's cameras don't need to be developed. Take 100 pictures and delete 90% if you want. They load right into your computer. Most are so smart it's hard to take a bad shot.

Excellent modern sonnet. It is refreshing and relaxing. Also, full of enthusiasm. Well thought out and nicely written with subtle rhymes. Excellent work.

Great poem. Brings back wonderful memories of trout fishing in Vermont with my grandfather when I was a kid. You are a great poet.
I particularly liked that fact that you catch and release. Well done my friend. Be blessed, Jude

We do that also. catch, enjoy and release. Fishing was a big part of my childhood with my dad and grandfather. The whole sense of sitting, a pole, watching the water. Really enjoyed this poem and the memories it brought back. Blessings, JO

Thanks for sharing this blissful events with us. I enjoyed he poem. I want to add one more thing. That beautiful waterlilies spring from mud and water, still the leaves of lily let the water not ride over it.Water drops roll down or form a dew like pearly form and looses its flow. _ Neelam

I wish that my fishing experiences were as wonderful as this poem, I could feel the tranquility and peace with nature. I got, mosquitos, rain, mud, and wouldn't you guess it, NO Fish, lol. Great poem.
