Oh dear, glad I was not eating anything while reading this! I enjoyed your notes almost as much as the poem itself! Great word pictures because I can actually "smell" that little guy right through the computer screen!

I loved this well-written poem about your forgotten crayfish. Great rhymes, very vivid imagery and I could almost smell that oozing bag of slop! Ewwww.... haha.. And I loved Mr.Crayfish's deep, intense emotions!
You told quite a story. Ever notice that sometimes our best and funniest stories are TRUE??!!
Great writing. Very much enjoyed this! Could've been a contest winner, had there been a contest.
Thanks for sharing it with me.

Poor thing. Well I would have eaten you :)
You do a great job mimicking a crayfish. Temperamental, shell fish. Nobody would suspect its written by a Bunny Wabbit hahaha

See- here you go with another "fowl" poem. (LOL) this is another good, fun poem. I don't know how some of this stuff on site gets a four star and they get sixes- then this is fun with good rhyme and good story and where will it get you?

Haha...beaut review my friend and not sure this was about a chicken (fowl) haha but I get the drift.
Thanks for the bonus rating...I did actually get a four for this from one reviewer but I have to take the mediocre with the higher marks. It all evens itself out and with about 8 sixers already for this and the fact that it made it to top of the well received, well that little ol four just don't matter! Hahaha
Thanks, you've well and truly made my day. Have a great one yourself.

Some creative fun. It really is well written. A trivial little matter turned into a poetic gesture. The voice is maintained, the flow kept me going, as when I realized it seriously was about a crustacean in a bag, I almost abandoned it. Glad I stuck around--the wording kept me there.

Many thanks. Yes I often write about trivial things.
I DON'T do fiction well or PHILOSOPHY.
So I stick with what I know and love and thats light hearted humour that hopefully strikes a chord with someone and is not bogged down with cryptic metaphors.
Too many poets get carried away with their own greatness leaving the reader in a state of bewilderment and confusion.
Glad you stuck around. The slushy also thanks you! LMAO

Eeewww! Hahaha! What an adorable poem! (And what a horrid experience at Christmas! Yuk! LOL) your rhyme is marvelous, the cadence is great and the story from the POV of the crayfish is hilarious! A wonderful poem!

Cray's are good eatin', not like that though. Ugh. My favorite discription here is the second stanza of the second part. Sure, blame it on the booze. Clothes in the dryer--got'ta run, but, this verse is damn well done. Kenny
Site still has me restricted to excellent here.
