friendship as a field of blazing scarlet poppies in the midst of winter's canvas - this paints an effective portrait of true friendship. it should appear as a blaze of beauteous spring amidst desolate white.

I like how you used a feild of poppies to convey the many individual aspects of friendship. I can't find any thing to fault about this poem. It's very good :)

Lovely piece and impeccable presentation. This explanation is a wonderful description of the truest kind of friendship that comes around with rarity.

A very upbeat and celebratory poem about friendship.a sweet metaphor is that comparison to a blazing field of poppies. Scarlet no less. Nice alliteration with: winter-white, circle of cheer, whisper of warmth, and single star. Your free verse flows smoothly. A very wonderful tribute to a friend.

Although this piece did not have any rhyming, the flow is good. The message in clean cut and clear. My attention is held from beginning to end. This piece speaks to my heart the phrase, A friend in need is a friend indeed. Good job.

beautifully well written poem on friendship, and i loved the imagery created by the poppies and the accompanying pic was very well chosen.and that a special friendship should be unrequitted

An incredible visual metaphoric display of real friendship... for how else does true friendship show it's measure than by being where lesser things are not. My blazing scarlet poppy field has beat back the starkness of winter and stands tall in my view. I am here, it says, come hell or deep snow... freezing wind...hah!... take this whisper of warm embrace as the magic of true friendship...
Beautiful poem

This poem is ultra-concise but profoundly meaningful--realistic and honest. The word "friendship" is thrown aroud WAY too casually, but your poem effectively tells how rare it is. Very good

This is a nicely written poem. I particularly loved the ending "a single star in the black sky shining bright enough to guide me home." One small flicker of light can shine through all darkness. Well done.
