This is a sweet story about love and sharing. It sends an important message to children (everyone, really) that kindness and friendship are important. I love that the characters are farm animals. You also used vivid descriptions. Excellent work.

Just a few points but ignore any you don't agree with:
"Oh, these are my favorite!" Exclaimed Mrs. Farmer - lower case for 'exclaimed'
"Oink!" Pinky said as she watched Mrs. Farmer swallow the sweet treat.
"Hello, Pinky," Mrs. Farmer said as she opened the door. - In the above two sentences, I think there should be commas after 'said' but I can't find any rule about it anywhere.

"Isn't it beautiful?" asked Elizabeth when she had finished arranging the flowers. - comma after 'Elizabeth
it flew from his out stretched wing - one word - outstretched

She'd made heart shaped cookie - should be plural - cookies

I wish you all the luck. I am trying to publish a children's book also. 'Flower Power'. This site is very encouraging, but agents can be busy. A lot don't even answer, so now I'm going with publishers. I have an illustrator from FanArtReview. Go for it!! Your story is awesome. If you want you can check out mine. :D

Thank you so much. Yes I would love to read your stories. I always like to see the writing style of others. I have self published 5 books, don't know if I will do more. I got a 2 for 1 last time, but they put such a high price on my last book I don't even tell people about it. No one is going to pay that much. You can find 2 of them on Amazon, the others the co went out of business so no more books. Just search of Super Pig by Roxanna Andrews if you'd like to see them. A good friend I work with illustrated them for me. Thank you for the great review. Hope you get a publisher. Roxanna

Hi Nancy, Yes I have been away a good while. I have a little shop on Etsy selling my cards and it keeps me very busy, but I love it. I have made much more money on my cards than I have on my Super Pig books.=} I published another the end of last year. So that kept me off FanStory as well, worked on that for a while. Thank you so much for your kind comments.I'll have to look at some of your stories, see what's new since I've been gone. Hope your VDay was really nice. Rox

I'll look at my errors. Thanks so much for catching that, I can read a story 100x and not see these things. The reason Super Pig is in the story is she is a central & signature character in an on going series of stories. I have published 5 books about her. I have been gone a while from fan story so I did know posting a Super Pig story might be confusing for some and should have explained her in my notes. Sorry about that. I must admit, I expected a roast pork at some stage, but , then again, I'm a bloke who grew up in the bush. That's what we use pigs for out there.
I'm sure they'd get a moral lesson out of this one.

No, we can't eat Super Pig! =} I have been writing Super Pig stories for years, have 5 books published about my little Super Hero. I have been away from fan story a while, getting another book done and keeping a shop I have online going. So was a bit concerned it might confuse some with a Super Hero just showing up. =} But she has been around for a long time, just busy doing other things. Now that I am back I hope to start posting again thought I must admit I am very rusty, I do lots of poems, mainly funny ones and I can't seem to rhyme these days. =} It's true what they say, use it or lose it. Yes do publish your stories. I like reading them, it inspires me and helps me improve my writing as well. I did have a reviewer who read all my Super Pig stories to her granddaughter so I named a character after her. She even reviewed a few of the stores. I think she was 8 or 9. She was a great reviewer and it really helped me to see how kids view my stores. One of my co-workers bought a book for her granddaughter and she brought her to work one day. I was talking with her about her trip to Orlando, but she just kept asking about Super Pig and the book. I finally figured out she just wanted to know about Super Pig and really loved the stories. I had not had a fan up to that point and it took a while to recognize it. She was so cute. She stuck to me like glue the whole day. Was very fun.
