You must be having a really great day. This poem sounds like someone who loves life and all the little things in it. And isn't it great when the number on the scale is less than expected? It makes everything else seem so much greater. I loved reading this uplifting poem. Thanks for sharing.

That's what makes you so special and fun!
Nicely written celebration poem of yourself.
Its about time we start enjoying ourselves, right?

A fun poem to read and I am sure it was fun to write too. I am not sure if God would like to be known as a female though; that seems to be a feminist belief. CG

Lady, you are an inspiration. I wanted to give you a six, but it would appear that I have run out. Story of my life.

Brilliant work, full of self confidence. I wish there were more people like you in my world

hugs

I am filled with envy now, caught in the depths of a winter malaise and feeling a fat, frumpy fossil--but only when I am being kind to myself. Your lovely Miss Piggy impersonation was a delight to read. Your Ode to Moi has brightened an otherwise dull bit of dreary day for me. Thank you.--Wendy

This is really a lot of fun to read. It sails through and delivers dollops of rhyme along the way. It seems very free and life affirming.

LOL at the title, Sharyn...and why not?

Excellent flow and internal rhyme - mostly great fun. I like the 'seeking him/her God' and 'finding' them hiding. :-)

I guessed you weren't a 'nun' as they're usually real miseries. Must be all that praying that makes them so serious. LOL

Thanks for the fun read, Ray

I went to a High Church of England private girls' school run by nuns - thank GOD that was the last I ever saw of them!!! But they did get a mention, nevertheless ! :)))))) thanks Ray!S

Absolutely nothing about celebrating yourself. Today it's rare to find a person with enough self-worth who can really truthfully say "I love myself" - so I find this all the more appealing for that reason.

The format really draws the eye down the page and helps make the read engaging from start to end.

Well done.

Yes, Sharon, I have one of those every day, but, unfortunately, I don't see Maui:) I like the free-wheeling style and the sheer joy of this poem. Great job--Ted
