This is an excellent poem, such a fun read. Your son looks cute. Is that supper imposed or did you actually create that taprecorder box.

Great job

LOL No I'm not THAT clever! Haha...I did however have to cut around it free form which isn't easy with a curved line in Paint. LOL
    Thanks for a super review.

Cute, clever, and solid craftsmanship. Reads like a high-ballin' language freight train with a full load of big words. Entire poem with perfect iambs and true trochaic lines, excellent use of repeat lines and rhymes. A handsome young man. A math prodigy, perhaps? K

Awww K thanks so much, a beaut review my friend and this little man of mine is a definite literary prodegy me thinks.
His memory is unbelievable and it started at 3. He sure as shit does NOT take after me as my affinity is only songwords and lyrics, funnily enough dirty limericks *smirk* and I have the strangest affinity with numbers...I got a poem half done about it but its kinda phenomenal...I seem to be able to remember digits but very little else! Haha
Cheers and thanks for the sixer K-Bomb review.

I had a friend in the service like that. He could add numbers in his head, no matter how many digits or columns, as fast as you,d give'm to him. Extraordinary--genius stuff. Look forward to reading more, P--- Kenny
reply by the author on 24-Jan-2013
Oh no, I can't fucking well add them...just remember them...LMAO
credit card numbers, postcodes, phone, fax, mobile numbers, social security...you name it, if its got a bunch of digits, it photographically embeds itself.
Trouble is like I said, nuthin else does.
    Thanks again K

Well shit, I do that and that's a long long way from genius. I think, maybe, that's borne of desperation.

Hi, P, and you have a very handsome lad there, though maybe it's best he doesn't wash, as he may go rusty. Very clever techs.

After reading your form explanation notes, I needed a few aspirins, but I think I've now recovered. :-)

Your 2st syllable emphasised trochaic meter is faultless, and the flow perfect.

Brilliant repeat lines and terrific fun rhymes and imaginative word choices throughout.

Blimey, if this bloke's memory can compete with a female (you) then the little guy has a great future. :-)

BRILLIANT entertaining write and worthy of my 'sixer'.

Cheers, Ray

LOL I knew the notes would throw a few for a loop.
Crikey early bomb...thanks for the sixer, I know you don't give these out easy. Either that or I'm a fave-rit. LOL Of course, you are not that shallow with your reviews my fine friend.
Yes the little bloke hates to wash, typical male...and his memory stands alone and craps all over mine.
I have an affinity with numbers and song words and funnily enough dirty limericks...There was a young man from Nantucket...whooooops!!!
    Nuff said...
If I could give your response a severner I wood.

This read a mile a minute. It's meter grabbed me and I went with it non-stop.
Wonderful word combinations:

-New-Age Recall Word Technician
Conversational marauder(what a mouthful)

Marvelous alliteration and consonance in this section:
-Dialoguing, his disorder
Recollection, his condition
Rhyme retrieving star awarder (brilliant 'r'consonance!)

Such an entertaining, down-right fun read.
Cutie-pie son.

I really enjoyed your humorous poem. This is a great form, and you used it beautifully here.I can definitely relate as I have two little ones around the age of yours, and they remember and repeat everything...some good..somethings not so good..LOL. Well written! Brian

I enjoyed your McResponse...thanks so much and yep he pretty much remembers everything and is also VERY politically correct.
Its hard to believe he is only six at times but this started when he was around 3. LOL

I loved how you wrote this as if from a computer science perspective- then he gives it the human quality. Great rhymes and a lot of great one words for description. I do love the style as well because it gives it a musical tone. I was like this as a kid, and i am still like this at 43. I really try hard to remember things, but sometimes to mine and others disadvantage. :) Great work! Holly

LOL Sounds like a kid you really have to watch what you say around. I can only imagine how this cute little "tape recorder" can get adults in trouble from time to time, especially at things like church gatherings.

I enjoyed this piece. :)
