This is so well done. I love the way you use the puzzle as a metaphor. Really great job. I see no flaws, though I'm not an expert at poetry, I do like this very much. So glad the Lord never throws us out, even though we deserve it, He always restores, forgives, renews. Good thing or I'd be in big trouble.

The artwork complemented your poem very well. And I could very much relate to the contents, I think many will be able to. I loved the end. The whole poem is so original.

I admired your spiritual piece and its accompanying abstract artwork. I liked your "puzzle" and "curbside pick-up" analogies along with your "tapestry" metaphor. Your direct address in this heartwarming prayer adds to its intensity. -Joan

Oh my goodness! This poem is absolutely PROFOUND. Truly worthy of many six stars! There is nothing to say except FABULOUS WORK!

In fact, may I have your permission to print it out and hang it on my wall? I need such a reminder DAILY.

Blessings, denny

What an absolute beautiful poem. It is such a lovely analogy of life and its problems. And as you said, it is only God who can restore it and find the missing pieces. You are very talented me girl.
Keep it up and well done

'Sometimes Lord, that broken life is mine - help me to remember You believed I was someone worth dying for.' How very true that is. Indeed, life itself is a puzzle. 'And, that, in effect, completes the puzzle. Very well written and well rounded with strong extensions and well presented. Well done. Kind regards.

This is a beautiful prayer. It acknowledges the parts that are missing in us and how we sometimes believe that they cannot be fixed. We not only see this in ourselves but in others, where we do not try to help them heal but push them further into a state of sadness. I agree. It is important for us to remember that Jesus died for us. This is a prayer that all need to read and reflect on their lives.

This is a very interesting read. You captured my curiosity with your description when I saw it on the banner advertisement. You gave me much to think about and I can see it all quite clearly. My favorite line is:

"You believed
I was someone
worth dying for"

Joy, that line is from one of my favorite contemporary Christian songs and just seemed to fit so perfectly there. thanks for reading. love, jan

That which has been warped by the world, can be made straight by the Lord. Those who seek Him will surely find that He has been waiting all along. Beautiful words and may your path be blessed.
