When we trust the Lord with our life, he will help fix that puzzle which is our life. He will give a clean slate and set us free.Well written with a good picture to send across your message. So,when we are broken ,He makes us whole.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in life, that we forget John 3:16>17. We energed into a pool of self pity. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

Hello an such powerful words telling us how

we take too long
to reassemble fractured lives -
instead of being Jesus for them
we leave them for Satan's curbside pick-up.

Jan,

This is a beautifully penned poem that touches my spiritual being. The imagery of the missing pieces adds a touch of me to the poem. How many times have I fallen to pieces spiritually only to try to pick up the pieces later. Without Christ filling in the missing parts to the puzzle, I would be one lost soul. The poem gives the reader much to think upon.

sometimes, Lord,
that broken life is mine -
help me to remember
You believed
I was someone
worth dying for

Oh yes and He did die for you and me. Such a wonderful write my dear.

The significance and very strength within the words of your poem are very enlightening, inspiring and highly motivating. Without an expectation, there can be no positive progression through life. Embrace the Light, and it will embrace you.

I am impressed by the limitless boundaries within the creativeness of your mind and this poem. Our influential impact, as you so eloquently described is central to our very being. Without that inner emotion, which gives our soul its subsistence, our existence becomes one of cold indifference.

Interesting reflection.

This poem evoked a lot of thoughts and an inner psalm of praise - I was one of those puzzles that Jesus brought together.

You believed I was worth dying for ... that's what keeps pointing us back to Him, doesn't it?

Very well written, Rdf!

The imagery or metaphor if you will, pertaining to your life as puzzle pieces is effective and carries along your message very well.
Yes, in the course of our lives we often mispalce a few pieces of our puzzle, but like you said, its easier to see missing pieces in others.
Of course that is known as the mirror affect. We only truly see ourselves when we look into our own 'mirror of truth' and sometimes its not very often.
I loved this powm, Jan. Its so truthful and accurate.
It was a pleasure to read this fine write.

take care

how often, Lord,
do we do the same
with those who take too long
to reassemble fractured lives -
instead of being Jesus for them
we leave them for Satan's curbside pick-up

A great "puzzle" poem, Jan, with good artwork to complement it.

Hugs,
Lois
