a compelling extended simile of the puzzle with the missing pieces
what a provocative stanza about those who take to long to reassemble
this is a well-composed and most inspiring poem of faith :-) Brooke

Dear Jan,
A very positive psalm saying if you have troubles just remember the Lord died for us. I like the colorful design you chose to highlight your poem.

Again, I wonder how often we try to put our lives together, without the help of Jesus. Once we have messed up, he is there to help and put a loving arm around us.

Okay, friend, this one get six stars.
Gulp, this is so deep and true.
Our ministry as believers is to reach out and we CAN get impatient with others, forgetting how HE had to clean us up as well.
What a reminder of this truth to love our neighbor.
Wow, thank you for sharing this. How vivid you drive in the point with the trash analogy at the curbside. Ouch!
Great job with this.
And yes, the L-rd completes our puzzles. He always fills in where we are weak. Always.
Amen!

This modern-day prayer is just stunning, Jan. I especially like the reference to leaving souls for 'Satan's curbside pick-up' - brilliant. Wish I had a six to give this worthy poem. Warmest regards, Bev

Hi Jan, this is a really creative way to look at life's spiritual puzzles. You explain clear enough so that I can follow easily along in your words of wisdom.
Excellent work and well penned. Once again I enjoyed reading your work, thanks so much for sharing it.

A beautifully penned poem.
sometimes, Lord,
that broken life is mine -
help me to remember
You believed
I was someone
worth dying for
God is always there to pick up the pieces
of the puzzle - to help us carry on.
A great puzzle poem, Jan

So nicely written and so true! I have never thought of the puzzle analogy, but it is perfect. I love how you conclude this with Jesus completing the puzzle. I will share with my husband who loves puzzles. Nice work.
