Not for the faint of heart, no offense intended

Haha, what a fun poem. I love the mix of Halloween and Christmas, and a bit of black humour never goes amiss. I certainly wouldn't find it offensive.
The opening line is such a great beginning.
And I love the reverse idea of Santa arriving to carry something away on his sleigh.
Bravo for posting something original in the midst of the usual Christmas fare. I enjoyed it a lot.
Kind regards
Sally

It's not a bedtime Christmas story, but there is a certain flair to it. I like that you've chosen to be unconventional while everyone else is spouting peace and love this time of year.

I enjoyed the change and the subtle way you described relief from chronic mental abuse.

I found this hilarious. It is such clever rhyming and lends a lighter note to some of the more sober thoughts at Christmas. Good fun and laughter can take us a long way and make a lot of people happy. Merry Christmas to you and yours from Australia. Giddy

All's fair in love and war. In this case love's been spent, and revenge as they say can be healthy. The worst thing is to feel you've been had. Christmas, oh yes wears many faces. Enjoyed the originality of this. Well done! Les

This is immensely clever, while I love more traditional holiday poems this was a refreshing change. Very engaging and suspensful throughout, well written and presented perfectly. Brian

Well, this isn't quite the Xmas tale I am used too. A revengeful Christmas fantasy, but it flowed smoothly and I liked the color scheme. T2

Definitely different. But that's what makes the world go round. Excellent picture as well as background and letter color choices for the subject matter. Good rhyme scheme and flow. I'm sure more of us than not have known someone in life who've sent us to the dark side during the holidays. Though hopefully none took such drastic action as described above. Thanks for the holiday shake-up.

LOL!!! Good one Debbie! I've seen so many documentaries lately about spousal murder. Wow. I don't know what's wrong with just getting a divorce. Sounds like you watch "Snapped" too! :) Great diversion from the traditional Deb. :) hug! Susan

I know...You are a wonderful person Debbie. I wish that you and I had cabins in the woods somewhere just close enuff that we could be neighbors, but have privacy. A dream on this Christmas day. Maybe in our next lives? Love and a tearful smile. Suse

I am choking on my laughter. What a delightfully grim piece of Christmas gallows humor! Good use of rhyming couplets and the humor, well, what can I say? LOL :-) Brooke
